The surgeon will perform a complete history and physical examination, as well as review all consultations and lab results. He will explain in detail the surgical procedure and associated risks. The surgery date is then scheduled for the surgeon's next available operative time. Our Clinical Care Coordinator will provide pre-operative teaching, and a post-operative follow-up appointment will be scheduled.
Patients will check-in for pre-admission at the Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View.
