Leading Heart Institutes

At the Heart and Vascular Institute at Maryview Medical Center, Bon Secours doctors and surgical team members use the same techniques developed by Columbia University Hospital in New York, a US Top Ten heart hospital. As a result of the Columbia partnership, Bon Secours has introduced breakthrough techniques to patients in Hampton Roads, including the introduction of “off pump” heart surgeries, and a new, innovative treatment for irregular heart beat. At Maryview, surgeons have access to the DaVinci© surgical robot.
