Founded as St. Vincent DePaul Hospital in 1856, Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center is preparing for the future, with extensive renovations underway.

Moving forward with the support of Norfolk’s elected officials and civic leaders and the Commonwealth of Virginia's Health Commissioner, the plan for a new DePaul Medical Center will, in the next few years, become Norfolk's newest hospital.

DePaul Medical Center Visitor Information

Visitors are welcome during the following times.

General:
Adults: Noon-8:30 p.m.

Center for Birth:
Dads, adult 18+ siblings and grandparents are welcome at any time.

Other Visitors:
Noon-8:30 p.m.
Special arrangements can be made by the nursing staff.

Critical Care Units:
Two family members/15 minutes. Arrangements can be made for 24-hour visits.

Oncology Unit:
Noon-8:30 p.m. Arrangements can be made for 24-hour visits.
