The Fall Health Academy at Mary Immaculate Hospital is a six -week course, where physicians teach the latest medical advances and surgical innovations for women's health. This will enable you to make informed decisions for you and the women you love. The experience allows participants a unique opportunity to experience hands-on laboratory sessions inside the hospital, the Heart Center and the Surgical Pavilion. During the lectures, students can take part in discussions led by surgeons and medical staff.

At The Health Academy, you will:

• Learn about guided imagery before surgery
• Talk to the doctors who perform imaging and surgical procedures for women.
• Experience what it’s like in the cath lab inside The Heart Center
• Practice using instruments during lab sessions
• Watch a surgical procedure
• See what the radiologist sees
