The program, led by Steven B. Hopson, MD, specializes in developing hernia treatments based on each patient’s individual needs. Our program utilizes the newest innovations including lightweight, high-strength meshes that are custom-tailored for each patient to create tension-free hernia repairs. The Bon Secours Hernia Center at Mary Immaculate performs many of its procedures using state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques which result in smaller incisions, fewer stitches, less pain and much faster recoveries.
