Chris Sinesi
Medical Director, Radiation Oncology
Dr. Sinesi graduated from Brown University in Providence Rhode Island before attending Boston University Medical School where he graduated in 1982. He completed his residency training in radiation oncology at the M.D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute. Dr. Sinesi is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.

James J. Stark, MD
Hematology/Oncology

Dr. Stark is a graduate of Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his internship and residency at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri and returned to Boston where he completed a fellowship at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Stark is board certified in internal medicine and oncology and his practice is located in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Dr. Judith Blevins
Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Judith Blevins is the radiation oncologist at the Martha Davis Cancer Treatment Center at Maryview Medical Center. Entering med school in her mid 30s (“dreams vs insanity”) with a husband and 3 school aged children, she graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School, then completed residency in Radiation Oncology there as well. Following that, she continued on at EVMS as an Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology for 3 years. After a short stint practicing in Elizabeth City, Dr. Blevins returned to the area and joined Oncology Associates of VA in 1999; she has been practicing here since.

Susan E. McKenzie, MD
Medical Director, Breast Certified Radiologist

Dr. McKenzie is a graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School. She served her internship at Anderson Memorial Hospital in South Carolina and her residency in radiology at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. McKenzie practices with Medical Center Radiologists in Norfolk, Virginia.

Kevin Green, M.D.
Cancer Pathologist
Dr. Green received his M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed four years of residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Emory University. After that, he completed a year of surgical pathology fellowship at Vanderbilt University, which included specialty training by a world renowned breast pathologist. Dr. Green is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. His professional interests include breast pathology, soft tissue pathology and genito-urinary pathology.

Daniel M. Atienza, MD
Hematology Oncology

Dr. Atienza earned his MD at the University of the East. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Cook County Hospital and a fellowship in hematology/pathology at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Atienza practices with Virginia Oncology Associates in Suffolk, Virginia.

Snehal A. Damle, MD
Hematology/Oncology

Dr. Damle is a graduate of the Maharajah Sayajirao University in Baroda, India. She served her residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center and a fellowship in oncology at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Damle’s practice is Snehal A. Damle, MD, PC, located in Chesapeake, Virginia.

J. Randolph Howard, Jr, DO
Hematology/Oncology

Dr. Howard earned his DO at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the U.S. Naval Hospital Oakland and a fellowship in hematology/pathology at the U.S. Naval Hospital Bethesda. Dr. Howard practices with Virginia Oncology Associates in Suffolk, Virginia.

Lloyd A. Shabazz, MD
Hematology/Oncology

Dr. Shabazz earned his MD at the University of California, Davis. He served his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic and completed his fellowship in hematology/oncology at Scripps Clinical and Research Foundation, Scripps Memorial Hospital-La Jolla, the University of California San Diego and UCSD Health Plan. Dr. Shabazz practices with Delta Hematology/Oncology Associates in Portsmouth, Virginia.
