Do Joins Bon Secours
New OB/GYN Physician Sees Patients at Two Practices

Portsmouth, Va. (November 26, 2007) – Annie T. Do, MD, has joined the Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center medical staff and will see patients at Portsmouth OB/GYN and Poplar Hill Obstetrics and Gynecology in Chesapeake.
Do received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 2003 and her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Davis in 1997. She completed an ob-gyn residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in Southfield, Mich., where she was recognized for excelling in a fast track, high stress environment. She has experience in general OB/GYN care, as well as high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic surgery.
As a student, she did poster presentations at professional conferences and has published research results. Also, during medical school, Do volunteered at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital, where she participated in many community health fairs and assisted with breast examinations and Pap smear procedures. In undergraduate school, she coordinated the Vietnamese Student Association.
