Hinnant Joins Bon Secours

Virginia Beach, Va. (December 19, 2007) – Bon Secours Hampton Roads today announced the association of family physician Lee Coleman Hinnant, MD, joining the Towne Center Medical Associates, a new primary care practice that Bon Secours opened earlier this year. Dr. Hinnant joins family physician Jim-David Gaglione, MD, at the practice, located at 4445 Corporation Lane in Virginia Beach.
Dr. Hinnant comes to Bon Secours from First Colonial Family Practice, also in Virginia Beach. She holds a bachelor’s degree in the history of science and medicine from Yale University, and she received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
She completed the Beth Israel Residency in Urban Family Practice in New York, where she was chief resident during her final year and served on several committees. During her residency, Dr. Hinnant worked at the Center for Health and Healing, as well as Health Care for the Homeless, where she participated in research studies. She has co-authored and presented a number of presentations in family practice issues.
