Portsmouth, Va (July 24, 2006) Bon Secours Hampton Roads, Inc., announced today the appointment of Thomas Keithley, RN, MSHA, as director of emergency services for Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center. Tom will also assume direct report responsibilities for the off shift clinical supervisors, Admissions/Discharge Unit and Bed Flow Coordinator.

Tom has over 16 years of health care experience in emergency medical care services. Recently, Tom served as director of emergency services for over four years at another local healthcare system. He has also served in other healthcare roles as interim administrator, nurse manager and clinical coordinator for acute care hospital settings. Tom earned his bachelor’s of science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and his master of science in health administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004.
