John Mashinski Brings 30 Years’ Experience to Health System

Suffolk, Va. (November 5, 2007) – John Mashinski has joined the Bon Secours Hampton Roads leadership team as vice president of human resources. Mashinski has more than 30 years of experience in human resources and has worked in health care for nearly 25 years
Mashinski comes to Bon Secours from St. Vincent Health System in Erie, Pa., where he served as senior vice president of human resources. His accomplishments include the “All for One” associate relations program to enhance retention, as well as the implementation of a leadership development program. He also developed a customer satisfaction program designed to enhance associate and leadership satisfaction that received the first place HAP 2006 Workforce Excellence Award. In addition, St. Vincent Health System has been recognized as one of Pennsylvania’s top 50 large employers since 2005 and has ranked among the top 20 each year.
In 1979, Mashinski earned a master’s degree in Human Development from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., and received a bachelor’s degree in pre-law from Indian University of Pennsylvania, in Indiana, Pa. |
