Miller Joins Bon Secours
New primary practice opens adjacent to Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center

Norfolk, Va. (June 18, 2007) – Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System today announced the association of Dr. Jake Miller and the establishment of a new primary care center, DePaul Medical Associates, located at 100 Granby Street in Norfolk. Dr. Miller comes to Bon Secours from Patient First and previously worked in private practice in Virginia Beach and Dover, Delaware.
Dr. Miller, a board certified family physician, received his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Kansas, and his medical degree from Des Moines University. He completed his family practice residency at Norfolk General Hospital. Dr. Miller has been involved in many professional societies and academic positions throughout his career. He has been a Diplomat for the American Board of Family Practice for nearly 18 years.
DePaul Medical Associates was established in response to Bon Secours’ commitment to provide better access to primary care in the Norfolk area. Located on the campus of Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center, DePaul Medical Associates offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from infants to senior adults. Along with colleague and board certified internist, Anita C. Kumar, M.D., DePaul Medical Associates will provide: well women care, ongoing care for men, annual and pre-surgical physicals, as well as management of ongoing medical conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol. |
