Bon Secours In-Motion Physical Therapy Announces New Hand Therapist

Virginia Beach, Va. (May 15, 2007) – Paige E. Kurtz, MS, OTR/L, CHT, has joined the staff of Bon Secours In-Motion Physical Therapy and Sports Performance.
Kurtz has been a hand specialist since 1990 and earned her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) designation in 1996. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Miami, and she earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Indianapolis in 1990.

With more than 17 years of experience in patient care, she is also very involved at the national level of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), currently serving as president-elect and taking on the position of president in 2008. In addition, Kurtz has lectured all over the country for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and ASHT, and is frequently sought after to lecture at conferences around the United States. She has also published chapters in medical texts. 

Kurtz is accepting new patients at In Motion Physical Therapy in Virginia Beach, located at the new Bon Secours Health Center at 828 Healthy Way, and at Bon Secours DePaul Physical Therapy located at the Norfolk Fitness and Wellness Center.
