PIERCE JOINS NURSING LEADERSHIP TEAM AT DEPAUL
New Nurse Manager for 3 South Medical Unit

Norfolk, Va. (August 13, 2007) – Ivan Pierce has been named as the new nurse manager for the 3 South Medical Unit at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. He brings experience in medical-surgical and trauma nursing, as well as clinical leadership.
Pierce joined Bon Secours DePaul in April 2007. He has been in nursing for 10 years and worked previously at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Pierce also served as a clinical instructor/advisor for the Nursing Department at Norfolk State University and is currently certified as a Medication Administration Trainer through the Virginia Department of Social Services and Virginia State Board of Nursing.
He is a graduate of Sentara Norfolk General School of Professional Nursing and holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Old Dominion University.
