Overnight visitation can be arranged but is reserved for very seriously ill patients. Family members need to be rested so they can help their loved ones upon release from the hospital.
Condition Reports:
We recognize that providing knowledge about your loved one's condition is an important part of helping you through this difficult time. In order to focus our attention on patient care, we request there be one spokesperson to relay information to other loved ones.
Please limit calls to the unit during call-in hours. The spokesperson may
call the critical care units between 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. and
between 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. In order to assure patient confidentiality,
condition reports will only be given to the spokesperson.
They can then relay information to others. Please be assured,
we will call you if there is a change in your loved one's
condition.
