Renal Dialysis Services

The Mary Immaculate Dialysis Unit offers 11 stations to dialyze acute and chronic renal patients. We also have capabilities for CAPD (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis) and CCPD (continuous cycling peritoneal dialysis) treatments.

Patients usually spend from four to five hours on the dialysis equipment per treatment, three times per week. The dialysis unit operates Monday through Saturday, and an on-call nurse is available after hours and on Sunday.

The dialysis team is comprised of nephrologists (kidney doctors), registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, renal technicians, renal social workers, renal dietitian and chaplain.
