Renal Dialysis

Maryview Medical Center offers both inpatient and outpatient dialysis. Maryview Outpatient Dialysis offers 11 stations to dialyze acute and chronic renal patients. We also have capabilities for CAPD (continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis) and CCPD (continuous cycling peritoneal dialysis) treatments.

Patients usually spend from three to four hours on the dialysis equipment per treatment, three times per week. The dialysis unit operates Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

The dialysis team is comprised of nephrologists (kidney doctors), registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, renal technicians, renal social workers, renal dietitian and chaplain.
