Kathy K. O'Connell, M.D. received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond before obtaining her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She has been in private practice in Hampton and Newport News since 1992. Dr. O'Connell is Board Certified through the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society. Dr. O'Connell has a special interest in high-risk pregnancy.
